Getting together
Getting Together is a new service, particularly aimed at Head Office members who do not have the immediate support of a local branch. The aim is for every new member to be put in touch with a county/area events co-ordinator. That co-ordinator will keep them up-to-date with what's going on in their region, such as coffee mornings, walks, theatre trips, or 'at home' get togethers.
Although Getting Together is a recently introduced service, there are already 21 co-ordinators in place. We hope to appoint several more in the very near future. However, with the support of more volunteer co-ordinators, we expect the service to expand rapidly to cover every county up and down the UK.
If you would like to become a county/area co-ordinator please contact Head Office.
The NAW has a nationwide network of social events organised by branches and county/area co-ordinators. To find out what's happening in your area.
