What we offer
The major benefit of membership for head office and branch members alike is the friendship and social life that the NAW can offer. Members joining a branch will find that they are immediately part of a wider social, supportive network. Head office members (those who do not live near a branch or who choose not to become branch members) will be contacted by the county/area co-ordinator of their area. Click on the link for a full list of the benefits of membership. These benefits include our recently launched confidential Befriending Service to support newly-bereaved members.
Getting Together is another new service which puts members in touch with a county/area events co-ordinator. It is primarily aimed at Head Office members who do not have the immediate support of a local branch and who are willing and able to join events that are being organised in their region rather than the immediate area.
